Upon servicing of your heat pump, we will issue you with an engineers report or data sheet to confirm the overall health of your heat pump and heating system.
This data sheet will be vital as proof of service should an issue occur with your heat pump during the warranty period, as the warranty is only valid if serviced annually by an approved specialist service company such as Smart Heating.
After a heat pump service with us we make the heat pumps service sheet readily available to the manufacturer should any rare issue occur. This allows the manufacturer to determine whether it is from lack of service or a genuine warranty issue. Again they will need to see proof of service history.

Ground Source Heat Pumps

Ground Source Heat Pumps provide even lower running costs no matter what the weather does.

These heat pumps take heat from continuous loops of plastic pipe (containing an antifreeze mixture) buried in a garden as a ‘collector’ array, or from deep boreholes which would not be as common although it is the most efficient.

The collector may also be placed in a lake or river too and we have completed many of these projects.

This technology is popular for new builds on a large site and offers the lowest possible running costs even in the most extreme weather. We recommend these systems for any project requiring 16KW or more.
